It is just a question of, do we know when it is over? Chasing the ghost will lead you through many races in life, to realize that sometimes the ghost is not a ghost at all.
Little Jones
Clarence Jones grew up in Franklinton, North Carolina the youngest of ten children. His mother was a housekeeper for a chain hotel and father worked at a local sawmill. Initially focusing on becoming a teacher of mathematics, Clarence attended Saint Augustine’s University in Raleigh, NC.
He would later leave college to serve in the U.S. Air Force as an Inventory Management Specialist, after 20 years of service and he complete his education with a BS in Supply Chain and Logistics and a MS in Human Resource Strategic Management from Bellevue University. He returned to civilian life and began his career is pharmaceutical supply chain and logistics moving between North and South Carolina. Writing poetry and motivational speeches with the aspiration of one day sharing was always one of his goals and dreams.

After fathering his first child, Clarence decided to move back to North Carolina where he became serious about pursuing his dream of becoming a politician and an author. Pulling from his experiences as a mentor, leader, husband, father, son, winner, loser, and black man in America, he felt it was time to share his experiences and life lessons in his first publishing of “First to Finish, Last to Win.”
